Teucrium montanum L.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen subshrub, Ch, 2n=20, tetraploid xeric to mesoxeric, from the steppe up to the upper nemoral belt (here on sunny steep rocky slopes) west Palearctic Festucetalia valesiacae, Stipio pulcherrimi-Festucetalia palllentis, Stipion calamagrostis, Sedo-Sclerathetalia, Teucrion montani R34, R62 habitats         This species shares a similar ecology with Teucrium chaemaedrys but it is somehow much sporadic.
